Ski Center Kopanki is the historically most significant winter sports center on Pelister. Located within the dense belt of native Molika pine forest, it features a steeper trail profile, making it a primary destination for more experienced skiers seeking dynamic terrain.

Detailed Trail Description

Location and Access:

The center is located in the immediate vicinity of Hotel Molika. Access is direct via an asphalt road from Bitola, with secured parking space in front of the hotel itself, enabling easy logistics for skiers.

Transport Infrastructure:

Skiers are transported in two stages. The first phase is served by a double chairlift starting from 1,400 m and leading to the Kopanki Mountain Hut at 1,610 m. The second phase is a ski lift (anchor lift) pulling from the hut to the upper station at 1,800 m.

Trail Characteristics:

The ski slope connecting the upper and lower stations offers a constant and pronounced drop. Due to the gradient, the trail is categorized as red and black, requiring a higher level of technical readiness from skiers.

Natural Environment:

The route is completely surrounded by tall Molika pine forests. This not only offers an exceptional visual ambiance but also provides natural protection for the trail from strong winds, maintaining snow quality for a longer period.
