Pelister National Park’s Info Center, in cooperation with the Macedonian Ecological Society (MES), is hosting a unique exhibition dedicated to one of the most mysterious and critically endangered residents of our forests – the Balkan lynx.
18 Years of Monitoring Through the Lens of Camera Traps
The exhibition consists of 21 striking photographs, the result of painstaking work and field research over the past 18 years. These rare shots were captured using camera traps, allowing us to catch a glimpse of the lynx’s daily life without disturbing its natural peace.
Habitats That Know No Boundaries
The displayed photographs were taken in the natural habitats of the lynx, predominantly in the western part of Macedonia, as well as in the border regions of Albania and Kosovo. This exhibition serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of cross-border cooperation in protecting this symbol of the Balkan wilderness.
Visit Us Until October 8th
We invite all lovers of nature, photography, and wildlife to visit this exhibition, which will be open to the public until October 8, 2025. Come to the Pelister National Park Info Center and discover the secrets of the Balkan lynx!
