In preparation for the extended May Day holiday weekend, teams from Pelister National Park have been working on upgrading and maintaining the park’s most popular recreational sites. The park is ready to welcome visitors with refreshed infrastructure, updated amenities, and clean natural spaces.
Upgrades at Goleма and Mala Livada
To ensure a comfortable experience for families and hikers, the Golema Livada and Mala Livada sites have been equipped with new outdoor resting structures and recreational equipment.
Key maintenance updates include:
- Children’s Trail: The dedicated kids’ trail has been cleared and fully arranged for young visitors.
- New Footbridge: Construction of a new bridge to enhance connectivity across the trail network.
- Adrenaline Park: The Adrenaline Park (with sections for both kids and adults) will be fully operational throughout the weekend.
Environmental Appeal to Visitors
The favorable weather offers an ideal opportunity to start the outdoor season, enjoy time in nature, and build healthy habits. Visitors are kindly reminded that protecting the National Park’s delicate environment is a shared duty:
- Pack It In, Pack It Out: The only appropriate place to store and carry your trash while in nature is inside your backpack.
- Protect Park Infrastructure: Stay on marked paths and respect the newly installed facilities.
