The second edition of “The Taste of Pelister” event proved once again that the mountain is a place that brings people, flavors, and tradition together. Under the emotional motto “I Have a House on Pelister,” Pelister National Park, with the support of the Municipality of Bitola, successfully organized the event, which aims to promote the overall tourism offering of the region surrounding Pelister.
Record Attendance and Regional Unity
Over 2,500 visitors from Bitola, Prilep, Demir Hisar, Ohrid, Struga, Resen, and all the way to Negotino and Kavadarci were part of this remarkable atmosphere. The event reaffirmed its role as a leading platform for bringing the region’s local offerings together in one place.
A Wealth of Local Products and Alternative Tourism
This year, around 30 participants showcased their authentic offerings at “The Taste of Pelister”:
- Local caterers and hotels: Flavors that serve as a trademark of this region.
- Food and beverage producers: Homemade delicacies, honey, teas, and wines.
- Alternative tourism providers: Organizations offering new ways to explore the mountain.
Recognizable Hospitality
The success of this event would not have been possible without Bitola’s signature hospitality. “The Taste of Pelister” continues to serve as a bridge between tradition and modern tourism, creating new opportunities for the development of the National Park and its surroundings.
