On August 9th, under the light of the full moon, Golemo Ezero became a natural stage for the 26th performance of the play “The Night I Killed the Moon.” This extraordinary cultural event offered a perfect blend of raw mountain beauty and powerful theatrical expression.
An Open-Air Spectacle
The reflection of the moon on the lake’s surface and the energy of actors Marjan Georgievski and Aleksandar Kopanja created an atmosphere that attendees described as surreal. Live music by the Bitola Chamber Orchestra perfectly complemented the peace and tranquility at this altitude of 2,218 meters above sea level.
Successful Inter-Institutional Cooperation
The event was the result of the collaborative efforts of Pelister National Park, the National Theatre Bitola, and the Bitola Chamber Orchestra, with the support of the Municipality of Bitola. Special thanks go to TPPE Bitola and everyone who helped make this magical moment a successful and safe reality.
