Pelister National Park continues the active implementation of its environmental education initiative. Following a successful launch that involved 125 participants, the educational field activities are progressing with high engagement from local schools.
Interactive Sessions at the Info Centre
During the latest organized visit, the park welcomed 135 students and educational staff. The tailored program included:
- Guided Educational Sessions: Field instruction and presentations delivered by certified Pelister NP guides and environmental educators.
- Info Centre and Exhibition Hall Tour: Exploring the park’s permanent natural history exhibition, learning about the local flora, fauna, and geographical features of Baba Mountain.
- Interactive Field Activities: Hands-on exercises highlighting local biodiversity, ecosystem balance, and environmental protection principles.
Fostering Ecological Awareness
Direct interaction with nature enables young students to better understand the value of protected areas, fostering environmental responsibility and healthy outdoor habits from an early age.
