Starting this summer, Pelister National Park has partnered with the YMCA organization to host the National Youth Leadership Camps. Through this collaboration, Pelister is becoming a key hub for youth education, leadership training, and outdoor learning.

The leadership camps provide young participants with structured opportunities to expand their skills across several focus areas:
- Personal Growth & Leadership: Building confidence, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
- Career Development: Preparing for future career paths and professional skills.
- Environmental Education: Learning about biodiversity and ecosystem conservation.
- Civic Engagement: Encouraging active community involvement.
National Girls’ Camp Underway
Currently, the National Girls’ Camp is taking place with 50 young women participating from across the country.
Their stay at Pelister National Park includes a diverse range of outdoor activities:
- Camping and outdoor survival skills;
- Team-building challenges at the Adrenaline Park;
- Guided hiking and environmental education sessions.
This initiative reinforces Pelister’s commitment to supporting youth development, environmental stewardship, and active outdoor recreation.
