On Friday, July 3, 2026, staff members from Pelister National Park, in close cooperation with local residents, organized a joint cleanup and maintenance initiative across the foothill villages of Trnovo and Magarevo.

The initiative targeted key sites of cultural, spiritual, and educational significance in both villages:
- Trnovo Village: Maintenance and groundskeeping at the Church of the Holy Mother of God, the local primary school, and the village mosque.
- Magarevo Village: Grounds maintenance at the Monastery of St. George.
These sites represent an important part of the region’s rich cultural heritage and remain popular gathering places for visitors from Bitola and neighboring areas.
