The development of active tourism in Pelister continues full steam ahead. Last weekend, the Pelister National Park team, in close cooperation with the Extreme Bike Team Bitola, conducted field reconnaissance to prepare a new and attractive trail.
Strategic Connection Through the Caparska Reka Canyon
The focus of this activity was directed toward restoring, clearing, and precisely GPS-mapping the trail leading from Caparska Preseka, through the unique Caparska Reka canyon, all the way to the village of Capari. This section is of vital importance because it offers a unique experience through untouched nature, while connecting the park’s high zones with the foothills.
A Key Link for Local Tourism
This trail is not just a forest path, but a crucial link in the new system of trails aimed at integrating the villages of Capari and Rotino into the region’s future tourism offer. Through this connection, local settlements gain direct access to visitors, opening new opportunities for the development of rural tourism and hospitality.
A Professional Approach to Planning
By using modern methods for GPS mapping, we guarantee safety and precision for all future users – whether they are professional cyclists or recreational hikers. Our goal is for Pelister to become a regional role model in infrastructure-organized and digitally mapped trails.
