Pelister National Park’s Info Center was recently filled with children’s curiosity and creativity. Young participants from the “Smart Head” educational center in Bitola took part in an interactive environmental education session, where they explored the natural treasures of our park through play and exploration.
Microscope Exploration and Nature Walk
The activities were designed to spark an investigative spirit in children. Using microscopes, they studied the world of insects, while observing flora and fauna with binoculars. The educational walk along the “Children’s Trail” gave them direct contact with nature and a deeper understanding of Pelister’s biodiversity.
Creativity and Teamwork: “Eco-Trophy Hunt”
The children showcased their creative ideas by crafting poster board projects dedicated to Pelister, translating their environmental protection knowledge into art. The education concluded with the exciting “Eco-Trophy Hunt” game, which tested their knowledge in a fun way and developed teamwork skills.
Fostering Conscious Generations
Such activities are an essential part of Pelister National Park’s mission to shape responsible and conscious young people who will become true guardians of nature in the future. We believe that a love for the mountain is born through precisely such unforgettable experiences.
