An educational and recreational trail with minimal incline, specifically designed for children, families, and school groups. The focus is placed on safety and direct education regarding the biodiversity of the park.

Detailed Trail Description

Access Points:

The route is bidirectional. It can be started from the “Golema Livada” locality toward the children’s resort with a very mild ascent, or in the reverse direction for easier movement downward.

Educational Infrastructure:

Along the entire route, informational boards are installed containing data about the flora (specifically the Molika pine), fauna, and mountain ecology, adapted for a younger audience.

Surface and Safety:

Of the total 5.2 km length, 4.9 km runs along a clearly traced, wide, and well-maintained walking path through dense forest, which provides shade and complete safety from steep terrain.

Golema Livada and Info Center:

Golema Livada serves as the main rest point, equipped with tables, benches, and a picnic area. The trail physically connects to the NP Pelister Info Center, providing access to the main administrative and educational resources.

Available Water Source:

There is one fountain available along the trail, but the water is not suitable for consumption.
